Are Gen Y's ambitious to the point of ridiculous?

A recent article that I read suggested that 37% of Gen Y's are planning to purchase a family home PLUS an investment property (or properties!) in the next two years.

Now, I am a Gen X, relatively well paid, with a reasonable mortgage over my modest home. I admit, I enjoy a pretty go
